Good news for sweet lovers: treating yourself on a macrobiotic diet is super easy. It may not involve chocolate and ice cream but, according to the Kushi Institute, fruit and natural/unprocessed sweets on a daily to weekly basis! Things like fresh and preserved fruits as well as home made cakes, biscuits and desserts are all macrobiotic diet approved. Try making not-so-naughty truffles with with almond meal, dates, raw cacao, coconut and rice malt syrup!
