  • 1 tablespoon of orange peel (in powder form)
  • 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

Directions:

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of powdered orange peel and 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt to make a paste.
  2. Apply on the face and allow it to sit for twenty minutes. Rinse off and pat dry for noticeably fresher and brighter looking skin.

 

Orange Body Scrub

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 10 drops of orange essential oil

Directions:

  1. Soften coconut oil in the microwave for a few minutes. Let it cool.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla extract to coconut oil. Mix well.
  3. Slowly add sugar into the concoction, stir slowly.
  4. Store in a jar.

 

Orange Conditioner

Use this concoction after shampooing your hair for shinier and softer looking hair. This handy recipe can also be used to treat dandruff found on your scalp.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of orange juice (no added sugars)
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

  1. Add a teaspoon of honey in a ½ cup of orange juice (adjust the amount of juice when needed). Put aside.
  2. After shampooing, apply natural orange conditioner to hair. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and get noticeably shinier hair!

 

Orange Face Mist

Ingredients:

  • Orange peels
  • Purified water
  • Glycerin
  • Empty spritz bottle

Directions:

  1. Boil water. Drop in orange peels slowly. Allow boiling for ten minutes.
  2. Stop boiling and keep pan closed to allow orange essence to set.
  3. Remove orange peels once water looks yellowish. Add glycerin to the water.
  4. Let the water cool. Transfer water to empty spritz bottle. Secure it tightly.
  5. Keep concoction cool by storing it in the refrigerator.

  • Organic orange juice or freshly squeezed orange juice.
  • Dash of mint (optional)

Directions:

  1. Dab a piece of cotton with orange juice, apply all over the face. Let it sit for ten minutes and wash off for a noticeably brighter skin.

Ingredients:

  • Whole Oranges (thinly sliced) or orange peels

Directions:

  1. Cut thin slices of oranges. Set aside.
  2. Line baking tray with baking sheets. Preheat oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Line baking tray with thin orange slices. Place in oven until slices become dried out. Make sure that they don’t look burnt!
  4. Take orange slices out and put them in a spice grinder. Store orange powder in a small jar for future use.

Additionally, you can also just dry out your orange slices under the sun. Line up a tray with some clean cloth and allow it to sit for a few hours. Make sure they are dry before putting them in the spice grinder. Store them in a jar for future use.
