  • You become restless, moody, depressed, or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop online activity.
  • You repeatedly stay online longer than you intended.
  • Plus one of the following:
    - You’ve jeopardised or risked the loss of a significant relationship or job, or career opportunity, as a result of your internet use.
    - You’ve lied to conceal the extent of involvement with the internet.
    - You use the internet to escape problems or relieve difficult emotions.
