Why not try something new to get your brainpower working? Just like our muscles, we need to keep our brain on its toes. Sitting in front of the TV, an iPad or computer screen is not overly stimulating and can lead to all sorts of issues – headaches, posture, lack of focus and eye problems (we don’t blink as much when we stare at a screen so our eyes get dry and sensitive).

Ditch the keyboard and pick up a pen and paper to plan your fitness for the week. Slap it on a sticky note to your fridge and refer to it every day before you head off.
