Get your running shoes ready for the Gold Coast 50 marathon returning for its 20th year on December 10 2017.

Attracting all levels of fitness, participants have the opportunity to tackle the 50km race from Kurrawa to Duranbah, one of the few 50km AIMS-IAAF certified courses in the country with world rankings up for grabs. For those looking for a more recreational run, there are 15km and 5km races on offer with walkers welcomed in all categories. This year’s race will also give runners the opportunity to take part in two-person relay with each runner covering 25km.

Throughout the race, you’ll be given the opportunity to stop and quench your thirst at the aid stations every 2.5kms, have the opportunity to cool off under a shower post-race and enjoy the finisher’s barbecue. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a trip to the Gold Coast, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to accommodation and the number of attractions available in the area.

Register today and take part in the iconic 50km course and soak in the stunning scenic views along the Pacific Ocean. The Gold Coast 50 takes place on Sunday 10 December 2017 at Broadbeach, QLD. Entries are now open at
