Ingredients
12 wonton wrappers
100g raw lean chicken mince
1 tsp chopped water chestnuts
1 tsp light soy sauce
Chopped coriander
Cracked black pepper
Method
Add all ingredients together. Take a wonton wrapper and lie it on an angle. Add a small amount of the mixture in the centre of the wrapper and bring in the four corners, lightly squeezing until sealed.
Add a small amount of water into a wok or pan on medium heat. Place an Asian steamer basket into the wok or pan. Use baking paper with a little spray oil so the wontons don't stick. Place 3-4 wontons in a basket with lid and cook for 7-10 minutes or until wrappers become translucent.
To make sauce, mix soy sauce, chilli sauce, hoisin sauce or plum sauce depending on your taste.
